Fresh Fruit Summertime Cards

While on vacation, I got some of my creative mojo back. I ran out of adhesive and white card stock and so that is the only reason I stopped!! This is a super cute stamp set from Stampin Up! I find I use Thank You and Happy Birthday cards the most often and thought I will make up some card boxes to give away as gifts.

Thank You Pear
This set is considered a watercolor style stamp so the missing ink space is intentional. I inked up the pear stamp in Daffodil Delight ink and then rolled it around on the Old Olive Ink to create the two-tone pear. I believe it is called the "rock-n-roll" technique.

Supplies Used: Stamp Set: Fresh Fruit. Ink: Tip Top Taupe, Daffodil Delight, Old Olive. Card stock: Daffodil Delight 4.25x11, Whisper White 4x5.25. Retired Polka Dot DSP: 1x4 (2), Daffodil Delight Ribbon and Candy Dots.

I love fresh strawberry time. I grew up with a strawberry field behind my backyard and I remember going strawberry picking in the summer time.

Supplies Used: Card stock: Real Red, Basic Black and Whisper White. Ink: Real Red, Cucumber Crush
Embellishments: Delicate White Doilies, Thick Black Baker's Twine
Without the Black

Rich Razzleberry and some Pearls
These last cards were designed by Robyn, over at My Pink Stamper http://mypinkstamper.com who creates some really fun classes.

I love to coordinate the envelopes when I think of it. The last one uses Watermelon Ink with the strawberry stamped off to create the lighter look and then full strength to add the outline. Pear Pizzazz using the same technique for the stem.

Supplies Used: Ink: Peekaboo Peach, Pear Pizzazz, Watermelon Wonder; Paper: Fruit Stand DSP, Watermelon Wonder, Pear Pizzazz, Whisper White, Peekaboo Peach. Embellies: Polka Dot TIEF, Delicate White Doilies, Watermelon Wonder Ribbon, Peekaboo Peach Ribbon. Framelits: Layering Circles, Layering Ovals.
