Birthday Wishes

These ended up being some of my favorite cards. Played with my collection of washi tape.

Sprinkles of Life

Sprinkles of Life Cards.
This stamp set is one of my favorites. Tree Builder punch makes it super easy to punch out the shapes. Used Cherry on Top DSP which is a fun 6x6 stack of paper and you get a ton. Washi tape used on inside of cards.

Must decorate inside

Fresh Fruit Summertime Cards

While on vacation, I got some of my creative mojo back. I ran out of adhesive and white card stock and so that is the only reason I stopped!! This is a super cute stamp set from Stampin Up! I find I use Thank You and Happy Birthday cards the most often and thought I will make up some card boxes to give away as gifts.

Thank You Pear
This set is considered a watercolor style stamp so the missing ink space is intentional. I inked up the pear stamp in Daffodil Delight ink and then rolled it around on the Old Olive Ink to create the two-tone pear. I believe it is called the "rock-n-roll" technique.

Supplies Used: Stamp Set: Fresh Fruit. Ink: Tip Top Taupe, Daffodil Delight, Old Olive. Card stock: Daffodil Delight 4.25x11, Whisper White 4x5.25. Retired Polka Dot DSP: 1x4 (2), Daffodil Delight Ribbon and Candy Dots.

I love fresh strawberry time. I grew up with a strawberry field behind my backyard and I remember going strawberry picking in the summer time.

Supplies Used: Card stock: Real Red, Basic Black and Whisper White. Ink: Real Red, Cucumber Crush
Embellishments: Delicate White Doilies, Thick Black Baker's Twine
Without the Black

Rich Razzleberry and some Pearls
These last cards were designed by Robyn, over at My Pink Stamper http://mypinkstamper.com who creates some really fun classes.

I love to coordinate the envelopes when I think of it. The last one uses Watermelon Ink with the strawberry stamped off to create the lighter look and then full strength to add the outline. Pear Pizzazz using the same technique for the stem.

Supplies Used: Ink: Peekaboo Peach, Pear Pizzazz, Watermelon Wonder; Paper: Fruit Stand DSP, Watermelon Wonder, Pear Pizzazz, Whisper White, Peekaboo Peach. Embellies: Polka Dot TIEF, Delicate White Doilies, Watermelon Wonder Ribbon, Peekaboo Peach Ribbon. Framelits: Layering Circles, Layering Ovals.

Build a Birthday My Pink Stamper Class

Been busy crafting and creating. One of my favorite paper crafters, Robyn, over at My Pink Stamper http://mypinkstamper.com created another fun class. This one was Build a Birthday and she designed some fun ones!
Candle Card
Cake with Flowers on Top

 Pink & Gray
It was fun to create and actually use my crafting supplies again. This class was nice as it offered a chance to use supplies like sequins that I had never used before in card making.

Also this time she gave an instruction sheet so if I want to recreate the cards again I can!!

I highly recommend this class and look forward to her future offerings.

Work of Art Cards

I need to give credit to Robyn from My Pink Stamper on this one. I took her notecard idea for treats and made them into full sized cards. Here is her link to her post:

I used the different stamp in the set as I needed a larger image for the full sized card. I love the colors she chose.

It was good to get into crafting a bit this Labor Day weekend.
